DINING ROOM

Room with a view

The dining room is one of the last rooms to be decorated, by the hands of Giani’s collaborator Antonio Trefogli and not by Giani himself.

The decoration enhances the vine leaf, a usual subject in the decoration of convivial environments and for this reason also very dear to the Faenza majolica.

This quarter is inspired by the famous dining rooms where the Romans used to eat lying down on the triclinia, small beds placed in a horseshoe shape.

Although the idea of eating in an old-fashioned way is captivating, the Milzettis do not find this solution comfortable, but they greatly appreciate the idea of eating in front of a large window that reveals the beauty of the garden.
